Thank you for using Telecue (“we,” “our,” or “the App”). Telecue is a simple, local-only teleprompter app that lets you create, save, edit, and delete scripts (notes) and float the teleprompter window over other apps. Your privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what, if any, information Telecue collects or stores, how it’s used, and the assurances we provide regarding your data.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

  • No Personal Data
    We do not collect or transmit any personal information (e.g., name, email address, phone number) to any servers or third parties.

  • No Usage Analytics
    Telecue does not collect usage statistics, analytics pings, crash reports, or diagnostic data.

  • No Location Data
    We do not access or store your device’s location.

2. Local Storage of Your Notes

All scripts and notes you create in Telecue are stored locally on your device in an encrypted (if supported by your OS) storage sandbox.

  • Create/Edit/Delete
    You can freely create, edit, delete, or overwrite your notes.

  • Floating Window
    The floating teleprompter feature runs entirely on your device and only reads from your local note storage.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

  • No Data Export
    Telecue does not export your notes or any other data to any external services, servers, or third-party SDKs.

  • No Advertising or Tracking
    We do not integrate advertising networks, trackers, or any form of user-tracking technology.

  • No Social or Cloud Integrations
    There are no built-in features for sharing directly to social media or cloud storage from within Telecue.

4. Security of Your Data

  • Device-Level Security
    Your notes reside within your device’s secure storage sandbox. We rely on your operating system’s standard security mechanisms

5. Children’s Privacy

Telecue is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us, and we will remove any such data.

6. Changes to This Policy

Because Telecue does not collect or transmit any data, we expect this Privacy Policy to remain stable. However, if we ever add new features that involve data collection or sharing, we will:

  1. Update this Privacy Policy with clear descriptions of any changes.

  2. Notify you of material changes via an in-app notice or upon your next launch of the App.
